Daniel J. Kelley as a Workers' Compensation Attorney

Attorney Daniel J. Kelley is a lifelong Wisconsin resident. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1982 and from the University of Wisconsin Law School, cum laude, with a Juris Doctorate Degree in 1985. For almost 30 years, he has been practicing in Racine, Wisconsin. As a workers' compensation attorney, Daniel has been selected by his peers to Best Lawyers in America. He has represented hundreds of clients at worker's compensation hearings before the Worker's Compensation Division of the Department of Workforce Development and more than 100 clients on appeals to the worker's compensation administrative agency, the Labor & Industry Review Commission.

He has also successfully represented his clients on all available levels of appeal through the Wisconsin courts. He successfully represented the injured worker in Beecher v. LIRC, an important Wisconsin Supreme Court case which has been cited many times since in support of awards for permanent total disability. He has also represented clients in appellate decisions clarifying the law regarding injuries while traveling to collect pay and while commuting in a company owned vehicle.

On many occasions, Daniel has been invited to lecture other lawyers on various aspects of the worker's compensation law. Throughout his career, Daniel has also provided quality representation to disabled individuals in claims for social security disability benefits. As with worker's compensation claims, his social security clients receive personalized attention and aggressive representation in order to obtain the best possible result.
