About Mark J. Leuck

Mark J. Leuck was born in Kenosha, Wis., in 1953 and has remained a life-long resident of southeastern Wisconsin. He attended local schools, graduating with honors from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside in 1974, with a Bachelor’s Degree. Mr. Leuck obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in three years by taking additional courses most semesters and college courses over two summers. Mr. Leuck worked for Kohl’s Food Stores throughout his college years and part of his high school years.

In 1977, Mark J. Leuck obtained his law degree from Harvard University. Upon graduating from Harvard, Mr. Leuck returned home to Kenosha and spent six years working for a law firm doing general civil litigation with an emphasis on representation of financial institutions, insurance companies and businesses.

In May 1983, Mr. Leuck joined the law firm that is now known as Schoone, Leuck, Kelley, Pitts & Pitts, S.C. During the last 25 years, Mr. Leuck has practiced primarily in the areas of plaintiff’s personal injury, plaintiff’s insurance claims and business disputes. Mr. Leuck’s more than 10 years of experience providing representation to insurance companies has been of great benefit in his representation of injured persons making claims against insurance companies. Throughout his more than 36 years of practicing law; Mr. Leuck has represented thousands of people with injury claims, including victims of the following: motor vehicle accidents, falls, dog attacks, farm accidents, motorcycle accidents, snowmobile accidents and assaults. While Mr. Leuck has succeeded in settling the majority of claims without the need for litigation, he is an experienced litigation attorney having filed and prosecuted hundreds of lawsuits on behalf of injury victims against insurance companies.

Mr. Leuck has also handled numerous appeals to the Wisconsin Court of Appeals and Supreme Court and argued a number of cases before the Wisconsin State Supreme Court. Mr. Leuck is a member of the American Bar Association, Wisconsin Bar Association and Wisconsin Association for Justice and Racine County Bar Association.
